The Challenge
How do you make beer more than just a drink?
For Moritz, the question was, “How can we reflect Barcelona’s constant transformation while staying true to its roots?”
The challenge was to reposition Moritz not only as a heritage beer but as the cultural trigger of the city’s creative life.
The Outcome
Moritz reinvents itself just like Barcelona: constantly changing yet always authentic.
The brand was imagined as a “trigger,” the spark that unleashes Barcelona’s cultural wave (“La Moguda”).
Through design, storytelling, and mapping, Moritz became more than a beverage. It turned into a cultural passport.
-
Bold mix of tradition and modernity.
-
Linking Moritz with artistic, social, and cultural hubs across the city.
-
A playful humanized bottle cap (“Chapín”) symbolizing curiosity, energy, and belonging.
The Concept
The result was a brand activation that blurred boundaries between beer, art, and culture.
Moritz wasn’t just consumed; it was lived, as a symbol of Barcelona’s dynamic spirit.
From video mapping projections on the brewery’s façade to interactive campaigns, Moritz positioned itself as the cultural currency of Barcelona.
Opening a Moritz meant opening a door into the city’s creativity.
Make It Stand Out
Innovation meets tradition. The Moritz video mapping brings the spirit of Barcelona to life, transforming the city’s cultural heartbeat into an unforgettable visual experience. A story of creativity, flavor, and community projected in lights and motion.
